    FOUNDER & CLINCAL DIRECTOR, LCSW

    Licensed in NY

    *Available for In-Person and Virtual

Hello! I’m Alisha - a transracial, transnational adoptee from South Korea, educator and mother.

As a dedicated therapist, I employ a multidisciplinary psychodynamic approach enriched by elements from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy models. My mission is to guide you on a transformative journey toward greater happiness, improved well-being, and enhanced connections in your life. I have training and experience working with trauma, complex trauma, illness and grief. I hold my experience as an adoptee to inform my work with clients through the lens of trauma, attachment and grief.

Central to my therapeutic philosophy is the establishment of healthy boundaries tailored to your needs, fostering a sense of empowerment and control. I firmly believe that creating boundaries is essential for personal growth, and my aim is to collaboratively help you navigate and set boundaries that support your overall well-being.

In our work together, I aspire to cultivate awareness and equip you with practical tools to navigate the various aspects of your life. My goal is to empower you to show up for yourself, fostering a sense of agency and resilience.

  • Alisa Gambardella, she/her

    LMSW

    Licensed in NY

    *Available for In-Person and Virtual

    Hello! I’m Alisa.

As a person and therapist, I am dedicated to ongoing learning. Our collaborative journey begins with a recognition of the social, cultural, and environmental factors that may impact the quality of your life. My approach to therapy is person-centered and attachment based, with emphasis on connection to the inner child.

I have experience serving populations of those impacted by complex trauma, complex grief, and stressful family dynamics.

Though my foundation is rooted in psychodynamics, I draw from evidence-based therapies including AEDP, IFS, CBT, and DBT in recognition of each client's individual experience. I hope to tailor an environment that feels safe and individualized to you. I value the connection and trust built between client and therapist, and foster a warm and accepting space.

My goal is to help you form a safe, secure, and loving relationship with both yourself and others. Through exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviors, we will work together to develop the tools needed to heal from your past and present, manage your unhelpful thought patterns, and develop effective coping strategies for your envisioned future.

While therapy can evoke intense emotions, I believe that by infusing joy and warmth we can also find moments of levity throughout our vulnerable work.

  • Kyle Lee, he/him

    LMSW, ASW

    Licensed in CA, NY

    *Available for Virtual Only

Hello! I’m Kyle - a strengths-based, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed therapist. I have worked in adult day health care, hospice, and school settings. I have experience working with diverse and marginalized populations, including children, adolescents, foster youth, adults with terminal illness, members of the LGBTQ+ community, trauma survivors, individuals facing socio-economic hardships, and adults with chronic disabilities and severe mental illness.

I understand that therapy is not “one size fits all”. Each person is unique with their own story and needs that deserve to be met as they are. You, the client, are the expert of your own life and deserve the resources and support that are catered to your needs.

As a provider, I believe in fostering your internal motivation for change and empowering you to be an active decision maker in your process of healing. My role is to bear witness to your lived experiences and provide client-centered options related to your goals and growth.

I believe in the power of a collaborative therapeutic experience in order to foster deep personal exploration and self-growth.
